Apocalypse Now

Loosely based on Joseph Conrad's novel, "The Heart of Darkness", the film transplants the tale to the Vietnam War. A young American captain is given the assignment to hunt down and kill one of his own, a colonel, who has apparently gone insane.

Tamara Drewe

When Tamara Drewe sashays back to the bucolic village of her youth, life for the locals is thrown upside down. Tamara -- once an ugly duckling -- has been transformed into a devastating beauty (with help from plastic surgery). As infatuations, jealousies, love affairs and career ambitions collide among the inhabitants of the neighboring farmsteads, Tamara sets a contemporary comedy of manners into play using the oldest magic in the book: sex appeal.

Freebie

Darren and Annie have an enviable relationship built on love, trust and communication -- they still enjoy each others' company and laugh at each others' jokes. Unfortunately, they can't remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with an idea for a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a "freebie" be the cure for their ailing sex life?

Case 39

Renee Zellweger hasn't starred in a horror film since the beginning of her career, but she makes a return to the genre with this creepy thriller. The Oscar-winning actress plays a social worker whose attempts to save a young girl (Jodelle Ferland, TIDELAND) from abuse may be misguided.

Back-up Plan

Zoe (Jennifer Lopez) is well aware that her biological clock is ticking, but she just can't find the type of guy she'd want to settle down and start a family with. Eventually, she makes the decision to become a single mother. The very same day that Zoe follows through on her plan, however, she meets Stan (Alex O'Loughlin), a single charmer whom she thinks would make a great father. While at first Zoe struggles to hide her condition from Stan, before long there's no denying the truth and she decides to spill the beans.

He relishes being away from death for a spell as he holes up in a small medieval town. While there, Jack takes an assignment to construct a weapon for a mysterious contact, Mathilde.
